Final Project Proposal

Final project proposal to be handed in Wednesday 15th
Written proposal to be no more than 1000 words
And should include:
1.Artist Statement
2. Project description
3. Project Implementation
4 Working methodologies/concepts/motivation
5 Allocation of time – filming, editing, making installation
6. Technical list
7. Supporting material e.g. photographs, sketch book, plans, anything which might make your idea clearer
Please note the proposal will form part of your final mark.

Multi Channel Video Outline
Week 1
Framing Time & Installation Lab - Practical experiments in video and installation.
Week 2
Other Audiences/ Other Places - practical experiments with wireless cameras/ live feeds. Looking at artists whose work brings to surface ideas about location/dislocation/truth/fake/interruption/loss of signal though the use of video streaming, live feeds, live interaction, performance.
Week 3
Introduction to final project. Looking at proposal writing, technical riders, showreels. Curating Video Art. Gallery trip?. Video manipultation and editing workshop.
Week 4
Sounding it Out - Using Soundtrack, recording sound, adding sound to video, installing sound.
Week 5
Process and Screenings Tutorials about your work so far. Screenings of video art throughout the sessions for to drop in and out to (if you need to think about someone else's work for an hour instead.)
Week 6
Project Presentations - Final work installations/screenings/performances
